Our Story. How Proposabid Started Up.

Proposabid was brought to life in 2021 by CEO RoDevia Brigham, inspired by a simple question she asked her partner one morning: “If you could automate anything in your day-to-day, what would it be?” Her partner, who works in property management and real estate, didn’t hesitate: “I wish vendors would answer their phone calls and emails—and submit clear bids I can actually compare.”

She went on to explain the chaos: juggling multiple properties, chasing down vendors for bids, trying to decipher handwritten scopes or half-complete proposals, and wasting hours just trying to make “apples-to-apples” comparisons so she could make smart, financially relevant decisions for her clients. And she is not alone. Property managers, owners, and investors everywhere are stuck in this outdated, inefficient process—managing property repairs through inbox chaos, phone tag, and clunky spreadsheets. It wastes time, energy, and money.

RoDevia realized that with the right cloud-based, Done-For-You software solution, there was a better way. She set out to build a modern tool that could streamline the workflow and boost productivity for property owners and management teams across the U.S.
